Trina Fields joined the Expanded Learning team in the Fall of 2022 with over two decades of experience in youth development and after school administration. Her work is rooted in the understanding that positive culture and climate don't happen by accident—they require intentional systems, authentic relationships, and leaders who can balance big-picture vision with day-to-day operational excellence. Whether managing data systems and compliance requirements or mentoring staff in youth development best practices, empowering leadership creates structures that allow both young people and the adults who serve them to flourish.

Ms. Fields is enthusiastic about co-creating and sharing strategies with stakeholders to cultivate the kind of after-school environments where logistics serve the larger purpose of transformation; where every young person experiences the power of being truly seen and supported; and caring adults foster an environment of belonging for all. Ms. Fields is the current lead of the ExLO Arts Enrichment Initiative and supports OUSD’s Network 4.
