Enrollment resources

For the 2026–2027 school year, families can apply for Expanded Learning programs directly through the District’s EnrollWise system,  eliminating the need for paper applications.

ENROLLWISE

Enrollwise is the district's centralized enrollement management system that allows families to apply for Expanded Learning Programs through chooseousd.org, and gives Site Coordinators and Agency Directors an administrative dashboard to review applications, manage rosters, and extended program offers.

aPPLYING FOR before and AFTERSCHOOL

  • New families may apply to Expanded Learning programs after submitting their school application through EnrollWise.  Families will be automatically prompted to complete their after-school enrollment as part of the same process. This ensures a seamless and connected enrollment experience.

  • Current OUSD families will log back into their existing EnrollWise accounts using their ParentSquare credentials. Families can then apply for a spot in their student’s current school’s after-school program for the 2026–27 school year.
This new process replaces the paper applications previously used by Expanded Learning programs. Making an application does not guarantee a spot in the program. Families will hear back in April from after school programs offering them a place.

  • It’s important to note that any student who plans to participate in any portion of the after-school program including no cost programs or parallel programs curated by the school day - must be registered for the after-school program through this process.

In alignment with CDE Expanded Learning expectations, any program, club, or activity that operates on a school campus from the ringing of the last bell until 6:00 p.m. functions under the Expanded Learning umbrella. This includes all enrichment clubs, tutoring, mentoring, athletics, and special interest programs.

  • The OUSD Enrollment office is offering support to families who may need additional help in navigating the new process. Families who have questions about their accounts, school or program choices can contact the enrollment office directly to access support.

ENROLLWISE TRAINING RESOURCES

  • The ExLO team hosted EnrollWise training sessions on February 4th & 5th 2026 to train agency partners on the admin platform and dashboard that they will operate to process enrollment applications for each of their schools.

The key takeaway :  Familiarize yourself with the platform and reach out if there are technical or programatic issues.

  • The ExLO team hosted an EnrollWise Refresher training on March 26th, 2026 to revisit the admin dashboard SCs and ADs will be using to process enrollment applications and make offers for each of their schools.

The key takeaway :  Platform confidence to make the first round of offers in April. Extend offers in "PENDING" status to prompt waiver completion.
