  • Safe Passages after school programs provide safe, fun and enriching programs. Programs include academic tutoring, enrichment services, sports programs, and activities for students in grades K-12.

    Over 1000 students and their families served annually across eight school communities in Alameda County.

    Our Goals

    • Improve academic achievement, support health education through nutrition and sports programs, increase exposure to the arts.

    • Foster family engagement and support.

    Vision: Safe Passages envisions a community where all young people have the opportunity to realize their full potential. Safe Passages is based on the premises that access to educational opportunity, health services, and family support should not be dictated by race or socio-economic status, and that healthy and supported young people are better prepared to learn and succeed.
