Aniya Williams is a Program Assistant with OUSD's Expanded Learning department, supporting TK/K, middle, and high school networks across Oakland Unified School District. With over 10 years of experience in youth programming, Aniya got her start in summer camps and developed a deep passion for creating enriching, high-quality experiences for young people. From there, she built her career creating and facilitating youth programs, eventually transitioning into the expanded learning space where she supported both summer and after-school programming simultaneously.

In her current role, Aniya works across a large portfolio of school sites, partnering with community organizations and school staff to ensure students have access to safe, joyful, and impactful programs beyond the school day. She brings a detail-oriented, people-centered approach to her work and remains committed to the belief that every young person deserves a space to grow, belong, and thrive.
